Effect of Different Slot Numbers and Slot Positions on Dual Band CPW Patch Antenna

摘要
The rapid expansion of the wireless communication industry has boosted the demand for dual-band frequency antennas. This work proposed a dual-band antenna using the CPW technique with different effects of slot numbers and slot position at the patch. The antenna consists of three steps of development, starting with the basic rectangular patch design Antenna A, followed by slot patch Antenna B, and lastly with the different slot numbers of Antenna C1, Antenna C2, and Antenna C3. It shows that the Antenna C3 operates at 3.56 GHz with - 12.53 dB and 6.38 GHz with - 26.84 dB for simulation. It also affects the 2.59 dB and 4.24 dB of gain at the first and second frequency points.
