摘要
Nowadays, roof-top PC installations are gaining increasing popularity. Grid-connected inverters with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) capability are used to interface the PV panel with the power grids. High-efficiency requirements and environmental pollution concerns enabled the development of various single-phase two-stage grid-connected inverters. Usually, the first stage is a boost converter with maximum power point tracking and the second stage is the inverter that enables the connection to the grid. This paper proposes a single-phase grid-connected MPPT inverter. It offers a complete design methodology for the interleaved boost converter oriented towards its specific operation as a step-up converter with MPPT. It also proposes an average simulation model for the complete PV system that improves simulation times considering that these types of systems are complex and are difficult to simulate as a whole.
