摘要
A moderate-resolution Digital-To-Analog Converter (DAC) specifically crafted for general-purpose use in a wide range of applications within a single integrated circuit. This paper presents the development of a 10-bit DAC in 22 nm FD-SOI technology. The main goals for the proposed DAC are high output swing, low power consumption, and a minimized die area while keeping the device inherently monotonic. The simulation shows a total power consumption of 0.9 mW at Nyquist frequency, with expected static linearity better than 0.32 LSB and 0.22 LSB for integral (INL) and differential (DNL) nonlinearities respectively. Effective Number of Bits (ENOB) of 9.5 bits with Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of 65.9 dBc at Nyquist. The circuit performs well for low-frequency signals with an update rate of 20 MS/s, while the Nyquist rate operates at half of this value.
