摘要
This study addresses the challenges faced by collective social housing in Peru, where the uniformity imposed by state programs accentuates the lack of originality and adaptability in residential designs, neglecting individual needs and quality of life. The objective is to develop a strategic model of flexible design criteria to improve social housing programs. The methodology is exploratory and non-experimental, and integrates qualitative tools in two phases: identification of five habitability schemes based on family composition and a detailed investigation of criteria aligned to these patterns, including organization strategies in cores, peripheries and modular growth. The results show a strategic combination of criteria designed to meet specific living arrangements, based on family size, concluding that such a metamorphosis of living space is essential to promote user-centered adaptability and
