In this paper, we have investigated the structural, morphological and magnetic properties of La0.4Ho0.1Ca0.5MnO3 half-doped manganite prepared via sol-gel technique. The structural study indicated that our sample crystallizes in the orthorhombic structure with Pnma space group. The morphological study revealed that our sample is nanosized with a mean particle size around 57 nm, with the presence of sintering necks. The temperature-dependent magnetization demonstrated a wide ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition with the presence of a glassy state at low temperatures. The evolution of the inverse of the paramagnetic susceptibility displayed a deviation from the Curie-Weiss law, indicating the presence of Griffiths phase.
