摘要：

The general aim of this article is to make an approximation of how to improve safety and health at work in relation to fatal work accidents through the application of artificial intelligence. Our work analyses the evolution between 2016 and 2022 of fatal accidents in relation to the employed population in Spain. For this purpose, the index of representation of fatal accidents in relation to employed persons (IRAMO) is calculated to detect in which categories of each of the variables (sex, age, professional status, company size, type of contract, citizenship, economic activity and occupation) a higher fatal accident rate is recorded in proportion to those employed. Based on this analysis, we examine how artificial intelligence can be used to help reduce occupational mortality.
