摘要
In this study, we explored the symptoms of anxiety, depression and subjective memory complaints and the consumption of food rich in Omega 3 (omega 3) fatty acids among university students from C & oacute;rdoba, Argentina, knowing that omega 3 rich foods are beneficial to those symptoms. A sample of 303 students participated during the second wave of COVID-19. The results showed that 56.8% of the students reported anxiety symptoms and 60.7% depression. Most of the students did not report significant memory failures. About the consumption of omega 3, it was reported that only 14.5% of the students consumed foods rich in omega 3 frequently enough. Together, the data indicates that special attention should be focus on this type of population, generating adequate prevention plans in relation to mental health, and promoting the benefits of omega 3 consumption.
