摘要
In this study, we present a novel numerical investigation of the effect of saturable absorber (SA) parameters on the intracavity pulse formation dynamics of the dissipative soliton (DS) pulses in a thulium (Tm)-doped fiber ring laser cavity. Our research focuses on the evolution of the temporal and spectral characteristics of intracavity, 1.9 mu m optical pulses, and the variations of SA parameters, including modulation depth, saturation fluence, and recovery time. The simulation results reveal the significant impact of SA parameters on the intracavity pulse dynamics, and we discuss the range of parameters for stable DS pulse generation at 1.9 mu m.
