摘要
Ensuring software quality involves a fundamental task known as software testing. In software development, there are many complex activities and the potential for errors. Quality Assurance (QA) stands as one of the most essential tasks. This paper presents qualitative research outcomes aimed at assessing the maturity level of the software testing process utilizing a designated framework. The significance of this study lies in its capacity to offer suggestions for enhancing the testing process through the development of a more comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), thereby mitigating potential future fraud. The software testing process's maturity level is evaluated within the company under investigation in this study using the Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) framework at level 2 (managed). This corresponds to the evaluation guidelines outlined in the TMMi Assessment Method Accreditation Requirements (TAMAR), which involve assessing process areas, sub-practices, specific practices, generic practices, and specific goals. After analyzing the evaluation of the TMMi software testing process's maturity against 5 process areas at level 2, it was determined that the company being examined is currently operating at maturity level 1 (initial stage).
