摘要
Microgrids, through their flexibility, make it possible to identify and address new energy challenges. In fact, they not only distribute energy but also data sets. Thanks for this data, micro-grids offer self-management capabilities through their own storage units, which take taking into account available energy resources, power consumption peaks, and variations in electrical load. In this context, this paper investigates the smart energy management system of a hybrid and isolated microgrid using MPC technique. This approach considers the model of the converter-based system to forecast possible future behavior of the controlled variable. It allows choosing the optimal voltage vector to be applied in order to minimize a predefined cost function. Simulation under PSIM software environment tool was carried out in order to verify the validity of the considered energy management algorithm and to evaluate its performances using Model Predictive Control (MPC).
