摘要
This research proposes an IoT-based system for real-time temperature monitoring that is both cost effective and reliable. Utilizing NodeMCU ESP8266 and ThingSpeak Cloud, the system is suitable for deployment in healthcare environments like hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. It offers real-time environmental temperature readings and cloud-stored data for remote access and analysis. Within this system, an ESP8266 operates as an access point, wirelessly transmitting DS18B20 sensor temperature data to another ESP8266 configured as a client. Simple lightweight encryption was integrated to ensure data security, which balances the security needs with resource efficiency, making it suitable for constrained environments. The client ESP8266 forwards this data to ThingSpeak Cloud for temperature display and analysis. Additionally, the system's integration with medical alert systems allows timely notifications to medical staff in case of abnormalities. Overall, this system presents a cost-effective, reliable, and scalable approach for real-time temperature monitoring.
