摘要：
Respiratory syncytial virus affects the whole population, from newborns to elderly adults, and causes seasonal epidemics from mid-October to early February. It is mainly responsible for bronchiolitis, which affects around a third of infants. Each year, severe forms of the disease put a strain on hospital and private healthcare facilities.
