The optical switch played a part in this, coinciding with the advancement of communication systems and the growing demand for networks that carry data fast and efficiently. Previous explanations of fiber optic failures have focused on protocols and internal architecture. The aim of this paper is to build a fiber-optic network that includes the optical switch, which is the most crucial component due to its critical role in fulfilling the demands of the fiber-optic network of the future.Using the seventh iteration of the updated version of Opti-system software 21, a simulation of the suggested design was created based on the actual values and variables of the telecom firms' equipment. In order to improve the findings when an optical switch is present, we have varied the power and length of the optical fiber in various scenarios in this work. The results were contrasted to highlight the benefits and drawbacks of each of these plans using the last version of opti-system software 21.
