摘要
The successful deposition of eco-friendly Copper Zinc Tin Sulphide (CZTS) thin films on soda lime glass substrates by spin-coating technique has been investigated. The films were deposited by varying the Cu/(Zn + Sn) ratio, ranging from 0.25 to 1.25. The deposited films exhibited a polycrystalline structure with a single kesterite phase with a preferred orientation along the (112) plane. The size of the crystallites was found to be in the range of 14 to 16.6 nm. The higher absorbance of the films was found to be near infrared, with a band gap of 1.56 to 1.72 eV. Higher carrier concentrations of CZTS films were observed with p-type conductivity. The efficiency of CZTS solar cells was studied using the simulator SCAPS-1D. Theoretical graphs of J-V efficiency were also drawn and calculated theoretically.
