摘要
This paper presents a fluid-structure coupling simulation (FSC) method for the main drive seal in a shield machine. The method is based on the simulation of hyper-elastic material deformation and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). It involves obtaining the fluid field model using predefined pressure and obtaining actual pressures through CFD simulations. The method iteratively updates the fluid field model based on the actual pressures to determine the final clearance of the seal ring under actual working conditions. The calculated results show that the opening pressure of the seal ring is 0.043 MPa, and the opening clearance of the seal ring under the working conditions is 0.2 mm. This analysis provides a reference to guide the lubricant dosage, verify the seal ring shape and structure, and assess the feasibility of achieving an effective seal for the main drive.
