摘要
This paper provides a comprehensive review of the recent advancements in ceramic membrane technology specifically tailored for oil-water separation. With the increasing environmental concerns and stringent regulations regarding water contamination, efficient separation methods have become crucial. Ceramic membranes, known for their robustness and high separation efficiency, have emerged as a significant solution. This review begins by introducing the challenges in oil-water separation and the role of ceramic membranes as a promising technology. The paper then explores recent advancements, discussing innovations in pore structure design, surface modification techniques, and the integration of nanocomposite materials, all of which contribute to mitigate fouling propensity, enhanced separation efficiency and durability. Special attention is given to developing high-temperature resistant membranes, catering to the needs of harsh industrial environments. The paper concludes by summarizing the current state of ceramic membrane technology and providing insights into future directions and potential developments in this field. Through this review, we highlight how modern advancements in ceramic membranes are setting new benchmarks in oil-water separation, paving the way for more sustainable and efficient environmental management.
