摘要
study reported the effects of different concentrations of CaCl2, applied as spray and soaked treatments biochemical traits for anthracnose-infected and non-infected dragon fruits. The findings revealed the soak treatment outperformed the spray treatments in enhancing the biochemical traits of both and non-infected dragon fruit besides improving its storage life. Additionally, the application of 4% concentration with both the application methods significantly improved the fruit's biochemical parameters. However, the soaked treatment demonstrated superior results, in comparison to sprayed treatments thereby, extending the fruit storage life. Therefore, the study highlights the importance of calcium application towards extending fruit shelf-life and also emphasizes upon the potential for enhancing quality.
