摘要
In this study, the Ce-doped BiOBr gas sensor was prepared for the detection of triethylamine by ultraviolet-assisted deposition. Characterization tests such as EDS and XPS verified the presence of Ce elements. The gas sensing test results show that adding Ce improves the selectivity of BiOBr to triethylamine gas. Moreover, the Ce/BiOBr sensor showed a 141 % improvement in response to 200 ppm of triethylamine at 300 degrees C compared to the BiOBr sensor. The enhanced sensing performance of Ce/BiOBr is mainly attributed to the increased concentration of oxygen vacancies.
