摘要
Amana wanyuensis is a recently discovered species from the Dabieshan Mountains, Anhui Province, China. It is like A. edulis in terms of leaves (2), bracts (2-3), flowers (1-5), and yellow anthers and round (versus oblique) stigmas, but differs most notably from A. edulis in its ovoid bulb with a glabrous interior, green leaves with white veins, bracts 3.0-5.0 cm below the flower and tepals with white streaks. Additionally, this new species forms an independent clade in the phylogenetic tree.
