摘要
During elective lung surgery, a chest X-ray is often taken both immediately after removal of the intraoperative chest drain and during the first outpatient follow-up to rule out complications such as pneumothorax or pleural effusions. A US research team has now investigated whether omitting these examinations is justifiable in terms of clinical management.
