摘要
This research article is part of the fieldwork conducted to produce a Bachelor's thesis that investigates the meaning young people attribute to their body practices, as influenced by the emotions they experience. The research focuses on exploring the emotions experienced and how they are intertwined with the meanings at play. Situated in the field of Physical Education, the objective of this article is to advocate for the necessity of developing a study of emotions within the sphere of body practices from a cultural perspective, in order to elucidate their educational value. Methodologically, a socio-anthropological approach is adopted, employing ethnographic tools such as semi-structured individual interviews and field observations, among others. The results presented in this work are provisional, as the thesis is still in progress. However, the conclusions drawn in this article point to the mediation of a cultural artifact on the observed emotions experienced, grounded in a cultural dictate regarding men and their perceived inability to express emotions.
