摘要
Fibromyalgia is a syndrome of unknown etiology that consists of chronic widespread pain, hypersensitivity, fatigue, sleep disturbances and changes in mood as the depression that can further deteriorate the general health of people affected by it. There is no specific treatment for this pathology, for that, pharmacological and non-pharmacological procedures have been implemented to treat the symptoms of this pathology; in non-pharmacological ones, the implementation of physical exercise stands out which, in addition, has benefits in pattients with depression. The objective of this systematic review is to determine the effect that the application of physical exercise has on the depressive symptomatology of women who suffer from fibromyalgia and to know the different forms of evaluation that researchers have on this specific symptomatology. Using the Scopus and Pubmed databases, 13 articles were selected that were found using the following search terms "Fibromyalgia", "Depression", "Effect", "Exercise", "Female", , using the boolean "AND". Finding as a result that the implementation of physical exercise in women who suffer from fibromyalgia considerably improves the depressive symptoms that this pathology can generate, as well as the use of different tools used to evaluate depressive symptomatology caused by fybromyalgia.
