摘要:
In this study, a series of Eu3+ doped novel Gd7O6(BO3) (PO4)2 phosphors has been successful created using a high-temperature solid-state method. The crystal structure, morphology and luminescence properties were under investigation. The samples were tested for photoluminescence (PL) spectra, and the results indicated that the Gd7O6(BO3) (PO4)2: Eu3+ phosphors emitted strong reddish-orange light upon excitation at 393 nm. Meanwhile, the strongest peak of the emission peak was located at 614 nm, signifying that the optimal doping concentration of Eu3+ is x = 1.4. The quantum yield of Gd7O6(BO3) (PO4)2: 1.4Eu3+ is measured to be 26.26 %. In addition, at 423 K, the luminous intensity of Gd7O6(BO3) (PO4)2: 1.4Eu3+ under 393 nm excitation is 85 % of its strength at 298 K, indicating excellent thermal stability. Lastly, a white light-emitting diode (WLED) device was successfully fabricated, boasting a correlated color temperature (CCT) of 3374 K and a Ra value of 86.7. The results suggest that the prepared phosphor, in conjunction with a near-ultraviolet (NUV) light-emitting diode (LED) chip, it holds significant potential for utilization in white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs).
