摘要
This article presents a methodological proposal to map and analyze urban socio-environmental vulnerability in Joinville, Santa Catarina. The methodology uses a multi- criteria analysis of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify the most vulnerable places and population groups. Socio-environmental vulnerability includes a lack of access to resources, services, and opportunities in areas prone to flooding, runways, and landslides. The methodology consists of dividing the problem into smaller problems, forming a hierarchical structure. The main step is to judge the relative importance of each element of the hierarchy, converting them into weights for elevated indicators. The final matrix was composed of 2010 census data, infrastructure, and environmental data. The analysis made it possible to identify priority areas, considering the challenges faced in the face of ongoing socio-environmental changes. The proposal contributes to improving public management instruments.
