摘要
The present study aims to investigate the present scenario of social media-based public library services in Bangladesh and develop a model plan to popularize these services among the user community. A semi-structured interview questionnaire was used to collect responses from the representatives of public libraries. Findings indicated that while there is a growing trend of using social media for community engagement in public libraries in Bangladesh, there are significant challenges that need to be addressed. The study also identified several opportunities for public libraries to use social media to better engage with their communities.
