摘要
A smart and secure power monitoring system for collective dormitory based on IoT technology is designed to address issues such as fire accidents caused by improper electricity usage. The system is based on smart electricity meters, and its metering chip collects dormitory electricity consumption data, which is sent to the cloud platform through the WIFI communication module. The cloud platform processes and stores electricity data, and visualizes the data through an APP. Users can remotely view the consumption data such as voltage, current, power, energy and balance of the dormitory, and plan their electricity usage reasonably. When there is unauthorized electricity usage in a dormitory, the system will alarm timely and allow remote power disconnection. The experimental results show that the system has the advantages of simple networking and easy modification, and realizes real-time monitoring and controlling of the electricity consumption, achieving energy conservation, and protecting safety of the collective dormitories.
