摘要
Eating behavior (EC) goes beyond the act of eating, it encompasses organic, social and psychological factors, with motivations that are not only related to physiological needs (Faria,Almeida and Ramos, 2021). Added to this, nutritional misinformation, pseudoscience and nutritional claims have a great contribution as social determinants of CA. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of eating behavior on diets, eating disorders and metabolic syndrome. A search was carried out in the electronic database of Medical Publications (PubMed), published from 2021 to 2023. 26 articles were selected for this review with the existence of a correlation between eating behavior and diets (08), eating behavior and disorders (10) and eating behavior and metabolic syndrome (08). According to the research carried out in this study, it was possible to observe that eating behavior involves complex issues of multifactorial motivations.
