摘要
Despite the predominant focus of most publications on developed nations, a significant surge has been observed in the establishment and expansion of international new ventures (INVs) in rising economies recently. This paper aims to enhance comprehension of the diverse factors influencing the international performance (IP) of INVs, especially those in developing countries like Vietnam. Quantitative methodology was employed in this study by collecting 468 Vietnamese INVs through questionnaires and utilizing SPSS AMOS 24 for hypothesis evaluation. To enrich the literature on IP, the study integrates knowledge-based view theory (KBV), resource-based view (RBV), capabilities theory, and technological perspectives to formulate the conceptual framework. New findings show that, while companies are at the forefront of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs for their IP they also indirectly affect this through the operation of an international entrepreneurial orientation (IEO). The study also affirms earlier findings that IEO strongly enhances dynamic capabilities (DC), ultimately resulting in heightened IP. Significantly, technological capabilities (TC) play a pivotal and indispensable role for governments, policymakers, and INVs managers in advancing firm success in the international markets.
