As we are aware, our aging world is losing energy day by day, and our need for energy is increasing accordingly. Within this consciousness, the task undertaken by researchers is to find new methods to efficiently use all forms of energy. In the conducted research and testing, the aim was to contribute to the question of how to minimize the usage time of lighting systems used in buildings throughout the day and how to use them with maximum efficiency. Utilizing the property of phototropic paints to change color under sunlight UV light, experimental setups with different colors containing phototropic content were established for the purpose of an energy-saving proposal. Gathering test data was carried out by setting up experimental setups based on all the collected data. As a result of these experiments, it was observed that under sunlight, orange phototropic paint provided the highest light intensity (127 Lumen).
