摘要
Remote working and home office has been increasing rapidly during the last decade, among other factors enhanced by the Covid pandemic. These new modern workers that normally work as freelancers, are not part of formal organizations and have been spreading around the world, are the pillars of the new so called gig economy. The digital gig economy has undergone substantial growth in the past decade, powered by internet platforms like Fiverr and Upwork [1]. This study explores the relationship between technology, knowledge management, and the development of the gig economy It analyses the dynamics of learning and sharing information among its participants. Building on existing literature which highlights the importance of both factors, this research seeks to further understand the relative influence of technology and knowledge management on Gig economy. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study employed a survey to collect data from 78 individuals who are operating within the gig economy. The survey instrument measured participants' knowledge and skill sets, preferred learning methods, and platform usage.
