摘要
Transforming methane (CH4) 4 ) into value-added products is always a long-term ambition. Currently, photo- catalysis stands in the forefront as a green route for methane conversion at mild conditions, but its activity restrains significantly from the rapid charge carrier recombination in conventional metal oxides. Here, the prepared Pt/TiO2 2 composite exhibited the outstanding photocatalytic performances in terms of both efficiency and selectivity. The loading of Pt clusters on the TiO2 2 powder enhanced the separation of photogenerated charge carriers, thereby greatly promoting the methane photooxidation efficiency. Especially, among the obtained products, methanol (CH3OH) 3 OH) was the most dominant compound, with a yield of 682 mu mol.g-- 1 cat and 70 % selectivity. This study underscores the potential of Pt/TiO2 2 composites as efficient photocatalysts for methane photooxidation, further pronounces photocatalyst modification as well as optimization strategies for improved photocatalytic activity.
