摘要
The study aims to analyze the development of remote teaching in undergraduate Nursing courses during the covid-19 pandemic from the perspective of teachers. This is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out in two higher education institutions, one public and the other private, in a municipality in northeastern Brazil. 19 professors from undergraduate Nursing courses participated, who experienced the process of developing remote teaching. They were interviewed using a semi-structured form, with the data organized and analyzed using Bardin Content Analysis. The ethical aspects of the research were followed. Three empirical categories were identified: I- Facing difficulties; II - Overcoming challenges; and III - Finding facilities. In the public institution, the development of organized and planned remote teaching was evident; At the private institution, this teaching format occurred quickly, without prior programming, with teachers and students learning and overcoming challenges. The study points out ways to overcome the challenges encountered, which culminated in improving the professional training of nurses in public and private institutions.
