摘要
This article explores the experience of the learning community in the project "Strategies to prevent sexual and gender-based violence and promote equity in rural schools in Nicaragua, Haiti, and Honduras". The project adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology, with an ethical and political approach. As a social and community research experience, it aimed at generating situated knowledge to identify strategies for preventing gender-based violence, particularly sexual violence, in rural school contexts. In dialogue with PAR, human rights and gender perspectives provided two vital frameworks from which the participatory construction of knowledge and the identification of courses of action were pursued.
