摘要
This study used data from the 2021 Central Ohio Regional Assessment on Aging to examine the capacity of housing tenure and housing affordability to modify the relationship between subjective community age-friendliness and health. Associations were modeled using ordinary least squares regression and assessed using hierarchical model comparison and moderation effect size. There was partial support for the modifying role of housing affordability in the association between subjective community age-friendliness and health, but none for the modifying role of tenure. Future implementations of the age-friendly model should consider how housing affordability may differentiate the individual-level impacts of community-level initiatives.
