摘要
Early identification and effective treatment of HIV is the most important factor in improving cancer-related outcomes for PLWH. Primary and secondary prevention are tools to enhance health, decrease cancer risks, and detect cancer in earlier stages and should be implemented routinely. While there are variations among the cancerscreening recommendations, providers should partner with patients in a model of shared decision-making to improve health outcomes and implement appropriate cancer screenings.
