摘要
This brief focuses on the need to develop antiracism education for graduate professional students by critically examining implementation of an online asynchronous course at the University of Pennsylvania. The course features modules on the history of racism in Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania and promotes antiracism, empathy, cultural humility, and institutional courage. Recommendations include featuring multiple voices and perspectives through short videos; helping students-especially those with race and class privilege-understand that racism and other forms of oppression impact everyone; being mindful of the social, political, and institutional context; and working to institutionalize the course across the campus and curriculum.
