摘要
Obstetrics and gynecologic hospitalists play a pivotal role in the evolution of perinatal care especially as patients and their pregnancies become more medically complex. Hospitalists improve patient safety by providing on-site, reliable, high-quality care. Hospitalists help to reduce the rates of unnecessary cesarean deliveries and increase the rates of vaginal deliveries.
