摘要
The article analyzes the socio-genesis of the information systems related to social policy in Argentina, going back to previous processes that made their institutionalization technically possible and politically feasible, as part of a broader process of state reform and social assistance. The historicization of the emergence of these systems that have acquired a growing centrality in the architecture of current public policies, allows us to understand the specificity of the national case, shedding light on the disputes of meaning regarding the imperative of modernization of social policy, marked by the neoliberal ideology attributed to them.
