摘要
Photo-driven carbon dioxide hydrogenation is a promising strategy for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Ozin and co-workers utilize various in situ characterization techniques to explore the structural transformation of 8-FeOOH during hydrogen activation and pinpoint its active phase in the photodriven reverse water-gas shift reaction. This study establishes a comprehensive approach for correlating the structure-activity relationship.
