摘要
The demands of contactless inductive angular position sensor using eddy current effect with high accuracy is growing with the explosive growth demands of new energy vehicle. The structure of magnetic field of the sensor was composed of a rotor with four blades, an excitation ring coil with two layers totaling 8 turns and two groups of sinusoidal receiving coils. The coil design principle and the electromagnetic induction theory of the inductive angular sensor were briefly described in this digest. The magnetic density in the air gaps and the induced voltages in the receiving coils were simulated by using finite element method. The simulated results were used to derive the angular error. A prototype of the inductive angular position sensor was manufactured. And an experimental platform was built to experimentally verify the simulated angular error.
