The escape room in online university education: a practical application

摘要
The beginning of university studies in Business Administration and Management is usually difficult for university students as it implies the development of various skills and competencies linked to abstract thinking, analytical capacity, case study or calculation capacity. However, it is possible to facilitate and simplify learning, using escape rooms in the virtual classroom. This research analyzed the perceptions of university students about the use of the escape room in the subject of Business Organization, evaluating, on one hand, the degree of dynamism, commitment, and involvement of the students in the virtual classroom due to the use of escape rooms and, on the other, the impact on their academic performance. The experimental method and non- parametric inference were applied to two randomly generated samples and an ad hoc questionnaire was used to collect information on students' perceptions of the impact of the experience.
