摘要
Combining cognitive and affective influences, as well as considering role-breadth constructs is critical to the study of employees' information security policy (ISP) compliance. This paper presents an improved model by integrating psychological capital (PsyCap), psychological ownership (PsyOwn), and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) based on the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory. A valid sample of 382 Chinese employees was used for model testing. The results imply that PsyCap is an important motivational antecedent to the cognitive decision-making processes theorized by the TPB. Also, PsyOwn moderates the effect of PsyCap on subjective norms, along with ISP compliance attitudes and behavioral intentions. Finally, theoretical contributions and managerial implications are addressed.
