摘要
In this paper, a novel axial field flux switching permanent magnet machine (AFFSPMM) with modular spoke-type rotor is proposed and optimized for torque performance enhancement. The topology and initial design specifics are introduced in first. Then design variables are categorized by sensitivity analysis method and the machine is optimized by a dual-level comprehensive optimization method, in which response surface model and single variable optimization are adopted for each level to enhance the optimization efficiency. The comparison of electromagnetic performance between initial and optimal machines is carried out in addition. Finally, a prototype machine is manufactured and tested. The experimental results indicate that the desirable torque performance of the machine can be obtained by the proposed optimization method.
