摘要
In order to study the influence of different factors on the foreign object damage (FOD) of titanium alloy blades, a Ti-6Al-4V simulation blade was taken as the research object, and FOD tests were carried out under different working conditions by using an air cannon. The results show that the type of foreign object has an obvious influence on the impact damage, mainly reflected in the hardness and density of the foreign object materials. The greater the hardness and density of the materials, the greater the damage width and depth. The effects of foreign object size and impact velocity on damage width and depth show a positive correlation due to the impact energy. The widths and depths of FOD damage do not present obvious relationships with the impact angles, but the impact angles show some influences on the forms of damage. FOD with an angle of 0 degrees usually results in semicircular notches, and FOD with a certain angle can cause tearing notches.
