摘要
The Russian language and Russian culture continue to play a prominent role in social and spiritual life of the Armenian people. Researches on the Russian language, Russian-Armenian typology are conducted in universities and research institutes of language and literature, bilingual dictionaries are published and republished. The general direction of linguistic re- searches on Russian studies in republic is pedagogi- cal, since the primary task of Armenian linguists is to create optimal textbooks and teaching aids for schools and universities. Annual conferences are held on the problems of modern linguistics, theory and practice of teaching the Russian language in schools and universities of the republic.
