摘要
Aim. - To describe musculoskeletal disorders of the upper limb (MSD-UL) and their risks factors among male professional drivers using the following databases: Sumer, Evrest, MCP, RNV3P, and Cnam. Methods. - For each database, 4 workers groups were studied during periods between 2008 and 2019: truck drivers, public transport drivers, delivery drivers and a reference group of other workers. Results. - There were 651 drivers for Sumer, 1922 drivers for Evrest, 1317 MSD-UL for MCP, 1242 MSD-UL for RNV3P and 8998 MSD-UL for Cnam. Sumer and Evrest show that biomechanical and psychosocial constraints are different according with the group of drivers. Evrest and MCP observe that prevalences of complaints or MSD-UL linked to the professional activity are not different between the 4 groups of workers for shoulder localizations. However, for elbow and hand localizations, these prevalences are significantly less (P P < 0.05). MCP, RNV3P and Cnam registered MSD-UL in higher proportion for drivers than for other workers for shoulder localizations. Repetitive movements are often incriminated as cause of MSD-UL among drivers. Force work is also often reported for truck drivers and delivery drivers but not for public transport drivers. Conclusion. - The risk of MSD-UL is different among the different groups of drivers. This study brings arguments for a superior risk of MSD-UL of the shoulder for drivers.
