摘要
In China, 10 kV transmission lines are commonly used in the distribution network. The lightning flashover rate is a crucial indicator for assessing the risk of lightning damage to 10 kV overhead lines and the effectiveness of lightning protection measures. The influence of nearby buildings on the lightning flashover rate cannot be ignored, because these buildings can act as lightning attractors and provide electromagnetic shielding. This paper presents a calculation method for the lightning flashover rate of 10 kV overhead line considering the influence of nearby buildings. The method uses the electrical geometry model, distributed parameter model, finite difference time domain, and finite element method to calculate the lightning flashover rate of 10 kV overhead lines. The calculated result is more reasonable and can improve the assessment of lightning protection for distribution networks.
