摘要
PurposeThe study explores the linkages between the factors affecting business incubation success from an incubatee's perspective. An attempt was made to determine which driving and dependent factors are the most influential by understanding the hierarchical relationship between the factors.Design/MethodologyThis study used TISM and MICMAC analysis to identify the factors and to comprehend how the discovered factors interact with each other. The factors were extracted based on extensive introspection of previous studies and then improved with the help of business incubation experts. The study employs the TISM model to depict the hierarchical relationships and benchmarking positions of seven business incubation factors, while MICMAC analysis is used to establish a hierarchical link between these factors by taking into account their dependence as well as driving power.FindingsThe host institute's brand name and the management of the incubators are the most important factors which have an impact on the outcomes of the business incubation process.Practical ImplicationThe study is valuable for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and business incubator managers, as the model illustrates the contextual significance of each business incubation factor.OriginalityThe findings are pertinent to the business incubator management as the modeling methodology breaks down the complex mechanism of business incubation into smaller, more manageable systems for thorough analysis.
