摘要：

A MATLAB app for user display of electric field vectors and potential distribution due to electric charges is developed. The app increases the number of ways users can be engaged with and understand electrostatic fields. Point charges can be placed in a domain with adjustable coordinates and values using mouse clicking and dragging. The resultant electric potential strength distribution and electric field vectors from user defined charges can be displayed separately or together.
