摘要
This paper analyzes three versions of Antigone in 20th century Argentina. From a sociosemiotics and gender perspective, we approach the suicide of the main charcters as literary figures. Our hypothesis is that the characters' suicide are symbolic answers to what we call the ghost of incest, and their meaning states a correlation with the social and political conflicts that characterize the historical moments when this texts were written, marked by excluding dichotomies. We consider two levels of analysis. First, the constitution of female subject in the kinship net, and second, the voice of female subjects between silence and deterritorialization. We analyze Antigone's place, in Sofocles's tragedy and in the Argentinian versions, as a symbolic space where the conflicts and tension that make the social bond and sustain the power of state unfold.
